Confiscated Goods at Malaga Airport

Dear Jo,

I don’t know if you can help. We travelled home to Bristol last night on Easyjet Flight 6058 and going through security our duty free bottles - one Campari and one Spanish Vodka (purchased in Nerja), were confiscated. The Easyjet flight steward thought they may have gone to lost property and that perhaps if we offered to pay the postage then they could be returned to us in England. We rather naively thought that we could take them in our hand luggage. Is there anything we can do?

Unfortunately, I really dont think there is anything you can do. It happened to some friends of ours a while ago, lost all their wine.
