Wheelchairs at Malaga Airport

Hi Jo

I am sorry to trouble you but I wondered if you could help

I have a brother-in-law Michael Berkeley who has been ill last two years and finds it impossible to walk through airports when travelling (with his wife Nikki)

They are booked tomorrow (11th August) on Globespan flight (112) back to Glasgow from Malaga departing 11:30

Globespan Glasgow when they made the booking stated they should contact Globespan Malaga for a wheelchair or buggy assistance but now Globespan Malaga state they cannot do anything!

Is there a service that the Berkleys can pay for that will help them through the airport and make life easier?
thanks in anticipation

Regards

Geoffrey

Hi Geoffrey,
I have had this question before about flyglobespan

When you come off the plane, there are buggies waiting for people who need them. So on landing mention to the steward that you need one but there are nearly always 2 or 3 there.

They will take you to your luggage and then Im not too sure but if you really really need it im sure they will help further.

When arriving at malaga airport on departure, you could go to the information desk and see if its possible to get help.

I received an email from some blind people that needed help and the airprot were very good.

Here is a link through to all the question I have been aksed about disability at Malaga Airport

I hope this is of use.

Regards

Joanne
