Things to do around Malaga
Hi Jo,I am traveling to Malaga for an 8 day holiday. There are 6 of us in all and it is our first time to this region of Spain. We are staying at a time share resort, Heritage Resorts at Matchroom URB in Mijas-Costa. We will be there from 10/6 - 10/13. We have rented a car and would like your recommendation pertaining to day trips and must see sites in the region. Can you help? Also, what type of clothes should we bring, ie. weather conditions?Regards,
Denise
Hi Denise.
YOu can find lots of information here scroll down to "Other places to visit"
Malaga City - there is also the Picasso Museum there and nice shops and also in the Port sometimes big cruise ships.
Seville about 2.5 hours away. Lovely City very Spanish
Granada / Alahambra
Gibraltar - need your passport
Ronda
Cordoba is a lovely City about 2.5 hours though.
Have a look around www.malaga-airport-guide.com and www.nuevaandalucia.blogspot.com lots of information about things to do.
www.googlemaps.com will give you a good idea where everything is.
Bring layers....if a little chilly the shops put on the heating.
Thin rain mack as if it rains it really rains.
Just layers and slippers as the floors get very chilly but in october it wont be that cold.
