Walking from the Plane to Arrivals Hall at Malaga
Hi Jo, Hope you don’t mind me contacting you. I found your link through the site for Malaga airport under ‘building works’. My parents (elderly) are flying into Malaga next year in February (they have been many times to Spain but never into Malaga). My mother is not handicapped, but simply cannot walk for great distances. Would you be able to tell me if from an airplane (Easyjet) to the arrivals hall (where a driver will meet them) is a relatively short distance, or do I need to organise perhaps a wheelchair for her? I ask this question in view of the building works in progress, since I do not know the airport myself. Would be very grateful for your advice.
Best wishes
Judith Pegg
The walk from where the planes land to the arrivals hall is quite a long walk....I always have problems as my baby always decided to fall asleep just before landing and had to carry her the whole way. I would arrange something if you can, although generally when the airplane lands there are the white buggies to take people that need them through to the baggage department and through arrivals.
I hope this helps regards Joanne
Hi Joanne, Thanks very much for your advice - much appreciated. I will certainly make arrangements with the airline.thanks again.Judith
