Malaga to Fuengirola or Marbella

Hi Jo, Just a query, 6 of us flying out to Malaga on 17th Jan 08 we have hired a 7 seater car from airport as we are staying in Elviria. A 7th member of our party is travelling alone the next day to join us due to work committments is there a bus or train he can use to get to Marbella or Puerto Banus even better Elviria and we can pick him up from there as last time we got a cab to the apartment in Elviria it was about 60 euros per cab which is a bit much for 1 person to pay. Is there a bus or train he arrives about 9pm local time Friday night, how much would it cost and how long would journey take. And where would be easiest place to meet him for him and us ie in Marbella town, Elviria or Peurto Banus?

Hi Lida, The Airport bus from Malaga Airport to Marbella Bus station takes 45 minutes and costs just 4€uros. Then you can arrange to meet there. The bus station is on the N340 just the next junction past La canada Shopping Centre from your Direction. Or you could get the train from Malaga Airport to Fuengirola which is about 30 minutes and also pretty cheap. Then you could pick him up from there. Either Way you will have to drive so its pretty much of a muchness. Good Luck

Maybe marbella bus stattion is easier. Arrange to meet inside at the cafe. Jo
