Hotel between Madrid and Marbella

hi- I was hoping you could suggest an interesting, lovely town we could stay in overnight(if you know a particular hotel, please also suggest that, if not just the town is good) on our trip from Madrid to Marbella- somewhere 3-4 hrs into the trip.Thank you for your help-Have a very Happy New YearRgds, Mara

Hi,I havent actually driven straight through spain yet.....waiting to do that this year. We have gone all the other ways. I would go to http://www.googlemaps.com/ then see the towns that look halfway between marbella and malaga. http://www.tripadviser.co.uk/ is a great website with lots of personal reviews of hotels and places to stay.
