Weather in October

This is just a preliminary inquiry, but would appreciate yourfeedback on all aspects. We are thinking about picking up a car inMunich around Sept. 12, driving to the Cote d'Azur for a few days, then "great circle" taking in Bilbao, major Portugal destinations, anice WARM time on the Costa del Sol, then north to Madrid visit thecity, drop car and fly home. Home is Honolulu, so this raisespossibility of home exchange at any of our destinations. What do youthink of the timing, the itinerary, and our options on the Costa delSol? The Malaga Airport website guide suggests October weather canbe quite rainy. All of your thoughts welcome. Aloha,

Wow, sounds a big trip. The weather can change as you can read here http://nuevaandalucia.blogspot.com/2007/10/marbella-weather-in-november.html When it rains it really does rain, but then the next day it can be lovely. There are no guarantees. Its definately still warmer here than Madrid and Bilbao! If you are going to stay here for a while then you could be lucky, but if only for a couple of days then u might get the bad days. People are always asking about the weather and its so difficult. Last august we had 1 day or rain which has never happened here. Sounds a great trip. If you need accommodation in Marbella then you can look at www.lamaestranza.eu Regards Joanne
