Art exhibition at Malaga Airport

If you have some time to spare when arriving or departing from Malaga Airport then you might like to visit the “Roads” art exhibition in the Didier Daurat Room situated in the main terminal.

This is a display of works by Desarte who are a group of seven artists and sculptors comprising Pilar Flores, Angel Martinez, Tony Mendoza,
Manuel Moreno, Alicia Sanchez, Rosario Ludmila Serra and Cristofalo. They have put together a modern and stunning collection of vibrant and colourful watercolours, lithographs, acrylics and sculptures

The exhibition is open daily from 19th June until 5th July from 10:00 to 13:00 and 17:00 to 21:00 hours.

Village People Concert in Benalmadena

If you are flying into Malaga Airport to visit the Costa del Sol in July then you might be interested to hear that the American pop group Village People will be performing at Tivoli World in Benalmádena on July 17th at 10.30pm.

Vilage People were famous for a string of disco hits in the late 1970s and early 1980s including the gay anthem 'YMCA', 'Macho Man', and 'In the Navy'. They have sold around 85 million albums and singles and celebrate 30 years in the industry this year.

Two of the original group members are in current line-up: Alex Briley (the military man) and David Hood (the construction worker). The rest of the line up comprises Ray Simpson (policeman), Jeff Olson (cowboy), Eric Anzalone (police officer) and Angel Morales (Red Indian).
