Below is a list of Costa Del Sol Theme Parks and things to do with the kids. You may be surprised to note that during the height of summer, July & August, the Costa Del Sol Theme Parks are open very very late! Tivoli world is open until 2am!

Under each attraction is their telephone number and website. I advise that you call for opening times and prices, before you go. They will all have English speaking receptionists but put (0034) in front of the numbers if you are using a UK mobile.

We want to give you our personal experiences on all the attractions we have visited so keep a look out for "our days out" where you can read about our experiences that these attractions like Fuengirola Zoo, Tivoli World Selwo Estepona Selwo Marina and at the Andaluz Donkey breeding sanctuary in Estepona. Selwo Adventure Park - Estepona

Selwo Adventure, Costa Del SolMy Favourite of all the Costa Del Sol theme parks! It reminds me of Jurassic Park, large open sided lorries drive you through the various animal enclosures and up into the hills above Estepona.

Theres elephants, bears, hippos and so much more to see. In the summer cover up as its very hot and not much shelter. Wear sensible shoes. There is also a small farm area where you can see the videop below. You can read our day out at Selwo Estepona Here

Tivoli World- Benalmadena

Tivoli World Costa Del SolThe biggest theme park on the Costa del So and really good fun for everyone. Over 20 rides from merry-go-rounds to Water Slide Rides.

There are kids shows, flamenco show, restaurants and gardens. A great family day out and open until 2am in the summer! A Super Tivolino costs 10€, is a wrist band which gives you unlimited access on most of the rides. Some petrol rides you have to pay separatly with Supertivolinos.

 

Tivoli Entrance Price: 4.50€ to the park itself. (Kids under 1metre high free). Then you either buy a SuperTivolino for 10€ or buy separate Tivolinos 1€ each. Our advice..buy the SuperTivolino for 10€! Read about our day out at Tivoli.

Crocodile Park-Torremolinos

Crocodile Park TorremolinosA purpose built Crocodile Park with 300 Crocodiles. You can have the chance to even hold one!

There are guided tours and shows around the park and even a baby crocodile nursery to see. There is also a mini zoo, kids play area and cafetaria.

Sea Life BenalmadenaSea Life Benalmádena is a magical marine experience on the Costa del Sol.

It has over 500.000 litres of water in which swim more than 5.000 different creatures, including species from the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans and even creatures normally found in the Red Sea.

Fuengirola Zoo, Costa Del SolFuengirola Zoo is also one our favourite days out. Its the perfect size, where you can walk around it numerous times, whereby all the animals will be doing something different.

There are shows throughout day which are really good fun and so many animals to see from Flamingos to Monkeys, Crocodiles to Tigers.

Teleferico, BenalmadenaIf you like heights and scenery then you must take a trip on the Cable Car that will take you to the peak of Calamorro where you can do a donkey ride, see Spanish horse riding displays or do abit of rambling, then take a coffee in the cafeteria with its amazing views over Malaga Coastline and Costa Del Sol .

Dolphin World, Gibralter

Dolphin World, GibralterIf you are visiting Gibralter to see the Barbary Apes then take a trip to the Dolphin World too. Dolphin World combines a fascinating cruise around one of the most visually spectacular bays in the world with a chance to see and photograph different species of dolphin, occasional Whales, flying fish, turtles and sunfish- all with commentary on the world of Dolphins.

The cruise takes around an hour and a half.

Camelot Park, Puerto Banus

Camelot ParkThis Park is closed at the moment due to illegal building

There are 2 sections. Section 1 for older kids/adults with rides, bowling, billiards, bowling, bar, terrace.

Section 2 is for 1-12 years with ball parks, bouncy castles, games and cafetaria. A great place to hold a kids birthday.

Further Tourist Information

This is not an exhaustive list but it mentions all the top attractions from Malaga to Gibraltar. We also have a section on all Costa Del Sol Markets.

There are also 3 large shopping complexes, Plaza Mayor, La Canada and the Miramar Center in Fuengirola that offer something for everyone on rainy or cloudy days. In Puerto Banus you also have Marina Banus and the department store El Corte Ingles.
