Our Day Out at Selwo Marina

We arrived at 6pm, any earlier during the day would just be too hot for us. We were just in time for the Dolphin Show which was really good. The staff swam with the dophins and the dolphins did numerous jumps and excercises to loud up beat music. The pool is amazing whereby you can see right to the bottom as well. This show lasted around 30 minutes. It was really good fun to watch. Everything is explained in English and Spanish.
Then there was another show with Scorpions and other little creepy crawlers which wasnt for us at all.
We arrived too late for the feeding of the Penguins as its quite a small area in side where you have to stand. So if you want to see this show then arrive 15 minutes before.
We then grabbed something to eat at the little fast food restaurant where my daughter was able to have her face painted by staff who were sitting at the restaurant keeping the kids amused.
The last show that we went to see was the Sea Lions which was also very good fun and really enjoyable to watch. Our little girl of 2 1/2 absolutely loved it and had the abilitiy to really sit and watch all the shows.
It was a good afternoon out, however you do need to go to see all the shows as there arent many other things to look at.
There is also an amazing play area for older children, a 3d Cinema. You can also swim with the dolphins if you wish and have your pictures taken with the dolphins and sealions.
When you leave Selwo Marina, have a look at Paloma Park Opposite, its fantastic, one of the best parks we have been too. Animals all running around freely, nice cafes and great kids playgrounds and lake with ducks - so dont forget the bread.
